First aid kit for travelling

Prevention is better than cure 🙂
Frozen body – warm up quickly.
Dizzy nose – rinse out with saline.
Too hearty a meal – drink Swedish herbs.

This will give you the bliss and peace of a healthy body.
And good memories of the trip.

The uses I have provided are informative and educational.
The easiest thing to do is to prevent illness. However, if ailments persist, it is better to see a doctor.
A first-aid kit can help, but is no substitute for medical care.

Cold – runny nose

  • Tea tree oil: Drink 3-5 drops in 1/3 glass of water 3-4 times a day.
  • Saline in 5 ml ampoules: add 3 drops, shake and administer 1 drop into each nostril, 3 x daily.
  • Vitamin C: 1 g several times a day
  • Fir oil (instead of tea oil): 5-8 drops in 1/3 glass of water every 2 h for 3 days
  • Neosine – for viral infections
  • Nasal lavage kit, e.g. Fixsin

Feverfew

  • White willow bark: Pour 1 teaspoon of herbs over a glass of water, boil. Drink 2-3 times a day, 100 ml each
  • Herbal tea (linden, elderberry, raspberry leaf): 4 x daily, one glass each (sweat it out)
  • In case of high fever immerse the body in water 1-2 degrees lower than the body temperature.

Sore throat
4 times a day on the 1st day, then 3 times a day until it works

  • Oxygenated water: 1 teaspoon, gargle until foam forms, spit out
  • tea oil: 4 drops in a teaspoon of water, rinse and spit out
  • sage: brew, add honey and rinse
  • Cloves: chew for 15′, 3 pieces at a time, then can be swallowed

Stomach pain from overeating

  • Swedish herbs in a tincture: 1 tsp. per 1/3 cup of water
  • or Underberg 1 bottle

Diarrhoea

  • Activated charcoal
  • Electrolyte replenishment: 1 l water, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 8 teaspoons honey. Drink 150 ml every 15′

Burns, cuts, bites, itching

  • Shostakovsky balm – lubricate

Toothache

  • Rub clove oil into the gums

Slices and bandages are useful and altacet for bruises.
